Mamoni River Rafting

INTRODUCTION

The Mamoni river was pioneered for rafting / kayaking in January 1998. The river is classified as  Class III-IV . There are a couple of passes that we choose to hike due to safety considerations, among them, a beautiful Class V+ fall.

The main economic activities that surrounds the area are: gold panning, cattle farms, subsistance agriculture, forestry, and banana plantations.
